The Festival Babes took on the world’s wettest party on August 31st and September 1st, — S2O Festival at The Brooklyn Mirage. This was S2O’s first time hitting the U.S., and wow, they did not disappoint. Known as the world’s wettest party, S2O brought the energy, the beats, and, of course, enough water to leave everyone drenched and living their best lives. Picture this: booming basslines, lasers lighting up the sky, and water jets synced to the drops, soaking the crowd in time with the music. Trust us, it was a whole vibe.
The lineup at this event was straight fire! We’re talking artists including Subtronics, Timmy Trumpet, Borgeous, and Alan Walker — each one bringing next-level energy that had us bouncing non-stop. Each set hit differently, and we were locked in (and drenched) for it.
Experiencing this stellar line up hit differently at the world renowned venue The Brooklyn Mirage. The visual effects displayed on the 200 foot LED boards surrounding the space, the breath taking city views from the open courtyard, the exceptional surround sound, and, of course, the water-based performances, created a fully immersive experience that ignited all the senses at once.
S2O wasn't just about the music - it was the entire experience. Imagine getting blasted by water cannons while you're lost in the music, surrounded by thousands of soaked festival-goers all vibing together. The Brooklyn Mirage was the perfect spot, with open skies and a next-level sound system that made every drop and beat feel epic.
Originally hosted in Asia, S2O has taken place in remarkable locations such as Vietnam, Taiwan, and South Korea. This year, Pulse Events decided to bring this legendary festival to the U.S.! S2O has also secured a spot on DJ Mag’s Top 100 Festivals list, and it’s easy to see why. By bringing S2O Festival to New York, Pulse Events continues to showcase their dedication to Asian American representation in the global dance music scene. There's nothing like putting on an incredible event with an even greater commitment to diversity in the EDM scene.
By the end, we were all soaked, exhausted, and hyped up all at once. S2O wasn’t just another fest; it was something totally different — the perfect mix of chaos, music, and fun. If you’re into festivals that go way beyond the usual, S2O needs to be on your bucket list. The water might have dried, but the memories? Yeah, those are gonna stick around for a long time. The Festival Babes couldn't have spent their Labor Day weekend any other way.
