Beyond Wonderland makes its way to the Gorge Amphitheatre in Washington on October 1-2! This will be the first year that Beyond Wonderland takes place at the Gorge and it is sure to be a memorable experience! Festival goers have the option to camp this year in the Gorge campgrounds which makes attending the festival way more convenient. This year’s event features three different stage. Attendees can enjoy sets of all genres at the main stage, or otherwise known as “Fractal Valley”, get weird to some bass heavy sets at “Cheshire Woods”, or get funky to some house music at “Caterpillar’s Garden”. No matter what stage you are at, you are guaranteed to experience some amazing music!
The Music
This year’s rendition of Beyond Wonderland features a stacked line up that is inclusive of all genres! Day 1 is headlined by Tiësto, Kayzo, and John Summit! If you are a house music lover, some sets you won’t want to miss include: Nostalgix, Green Velvet, SIDEPIECE, Dustycloud, AC Slater, Drezo, CID, and 3LAU. For bass lovers, you will want to catch sets from: Virtual Riot, Kaivon, G Jones, GRAVEDGR, and GG Magree. A few other big names on day 1 include: The Chainsmokers, Said the Sky, and ARMNHMR. Day 2 is headlined by Rezz, Svdden Death, and Malaa. Some “must-see” house sets on day 2 include: Wax Motif, Dr. Fresch, Bijou, Joyryde, Loud Luxury, and Benny Benassi. If you’re feeling weird on day 2, be sure to check out some bass heavy sets from Lucii, Sullivan King, and Whipped Cream. Other sets that are sure to bring high energy to the crowd include: Alan Walker, Steve Aoki, Softest Hard, and SoDown. This year’s line up is very diverse and offers sets for everyone’s musical tastes!
The Experience
The musical sets are not the only place that you will find top tier production at this Festival! Scattered throughout the festival grounds, you will find multiple “Alice in Wonderland themed” art installations and decorations. There will also be performers in the crowds and between stages who are dressed up like characters from Alice in Wonderland. Whether you are at a stage or not, you will be sure to find entertainment!
